It was a cold and rainy day in LA!

Pictures 1 and 2 capture a little bit of the moody sky. Cool clouds. Picture 3 is King Eddy's Saloon which opens every day at like 6am. It is not in a great area yet I've heard a lot of celebrities (mainly guys) go there. Not sure what it looks like on the inside but maybe it's nice?? Picture 4 is a super treat that Stacie made. Mini Cappuccino cup cakes. I'm not usually a sweets person but this was AMAZING. And of course, so cute like always.

Burrrr..... Turning on the heater now.

Found this video that Duffy posted of her singing a cover of Etta James' song, Trust In Me. So amazing. I don't think I've ever seen her sing live. LOVE her! Can't wait to see her perform live one day. Maybe in England??!!

Even the dirty LA streets look cool using instagram. Yep. Took a picture of the ground. And I like it. Not that I want to hang it up in my house or anything but I like the contrasts and the pop of color.

Sunday Funday!

Finally got a day off work and I'm still driving around in my car! But at least I was spending the day with a good friend and NOT on my way to or from work. Snapped this at a red light. I have a feeling there will be many sky pictures during this project. Currently obsessed. Wish I could get good moon pictures with my iPhone. The moon has been extra awesome lately.

I caved. I purchased something I saw on an infomercial!! I bought it through Amazon so I wouldn't get caught up in the automatic monthly re-fills. It's called Wen and it's supposed to take the place of your shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner and detangler. It's more of a natural product. If Alyssa Milano, Roselyn Sanchez and Drew Barrymore say it's amazing, it must be. Right?? We'll see...

My favorite mug for tea! Yes, I use specific mugs for specific beverages. I even have a favorite wine glass. :) This mug was from my first trip to London. How amazing is that little double decker bus on the inside? So cute.

After a draining day at work, I finally made it home. Made it just in time for new episodes of Glee and New Girl! Glee was cute with the proposals and New Girl was hilarious with the Douche Bag Jar. Zooey Deschanel and crew kill me. They are hilarious!

Worked all day. And it's Sunday! Uggghhhh.... It was a long day but I am finally home in my bed with my wine (courtesy of an unfinished bottle from yesterday!), a book and the pitter patter of the rain outside my window. Now I'm a happy girl!

Today I made the long treck up to Malibu to a winery for a friend's birthday. The winery was called Malibu Wines. It's outdoors and has tables, adirondack chairs and grassy areas. Perfect for picnics! We brought snacks bought some wine from the winery and enjoyed the live music in the Malibu canyons. Nice way to spend the afternoon!

First Laker game! Was planning on meeting up with friends to go to dinner before they went to the Laker game. Turns out, they got an extra ticket and invited me to go last minute. Since Staples Center is right next to my work, that was an easy decision to make. Alas, my night ended up with a surprise Laker game. Lots of fun and they won! Even better. Oh, and how amazing were my seats?!

Even though the daily commute from Orange County to Los Angeles (and back) kind of sucks, I get to see the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets practically every day. My carpool buddy most definitely thinks I'm crazy because I comment almost daily on how amazing the sky looks. Haha. It's the little things that make me happy.

People's Choice Awards red carpet outside of work at LA LIVE. If there is nothing going on out there it seems strange.

I heard some of my fave peeps were there and now I'm sad I didn't get to go this year. From Once Upon a Time (Jennifer Morrison and Ginnifer Goodwin) and from Glee (Lea Michele and Cory Monteith). So rude.
