Working on Sunday too! Uggghh! I would have loved to spend this rainy day at home. Warm and cozy with a book and wrapped in a blanket. But duty calls. I loved the reflection of the lamp post in the rain puddles. So pretty!

It's Saturday and I had to work today. Blah! But it was just me in the office so I got to listen to my new mixed cd's from Corinne. I love mixed cd's and new music!

It was a sad day at work today. Two of my favorite work sisters are leaving us! This is Corinne's desk decorated like sunshine because she is bright and cheery. I'm gonna miss turning around and seeing her "bopping" to the music on her iPod. :)

Found a new photo app on the train today! It's called Be Funky and I love some of the options it has to edit. I used one of the pictures from Sunday Funday last weekend and edited it. I've got a lot of time on the train. Haha.

Sunday brunch turned into an all day event. Started off at Newport Landing in Balboa Island for brunch with bottomless mimosas. Everytime you thought you were almost done, they refilled our champagne. We finally had to cut them off. Haha. We walked around a little bit, took the ferry and then drove to Laguna Beach for a little bit. It was such a beautiful day today. Freezing, but beautiful! I love Sunday Funday.

After work today, we went to dinner at Chi Dynasty in LA and then went to Comedy Sportz to celebrate Stacie's birthday. Chi Dynasty was so delicious. They have my favorite green beans. Comedy Sportz is a small improv show where two teams of actors compete against each other in improv games and the audience gets to pick which team is the best. I love this show. They are so great. And for $19/ticket, it's a great deal! FYI, they knew it was Stacie's birthday and they made her go up on stage. That is her on the left posing like a penguin!!!

Such a fun night with friends!

I was in a hurry on my way to the train but I snapped this picture of the crew setting up for a scene with NCIS Los Angeles. They were shooting a chase scene with Chris O'Donnell and L.L. Cool J. I could hear gunshots from my office. Gotta love LA!

Another long day at work. Finally got home around 9pm after not being home since Tuesday. Forgot that I had purchased some flowers from the grocery store the other day that had not bloomed yet. Came home to them in full bloom. Beautiful suprise after a hectic few days!!

It was a late day at work today. Missed the 5:40 and 6:30 metrolink trains. Running to catch the 7:30pm Amtrak. Literally running. But had to stop at a red light and loved this building so snapped a picture. Then continued (jogging) to the Metro Station, caught the Metro to Union and then ran to Amtrak. Missed my train by less than a minute. There were not any signs as to which train was which so I had to run into the train and ask. Finally found mine and it started driving off. Ugh!

Good thing my parents were available to pick me up and let me crash at their place. Had to go to Target (once again) to get another shirt, etc so I could get ready for work the next morning.

This weekend I will be packing an "emergency" toiletry bag to keep at work for instances like this where I am not able to go home! haha. Hot mess!
