Sunday brunch turned into an all day event. Started off at Newport Landing in Balboa Island for brunch with bottomless mimosas. Everytime you thought you were almost done, they refilled our champagne. We finally had to cut them off. Haha. We walked around a little bit, took the ferry and then drove to Laguna Beach for a little bit. It was such a beautiful day today. Freezing, but beautiful! I love Sunday Funday.

Met up with a friend and an ex co-worker today on this beautiful Saturday morning. Went to Figaro Bistrot in Los Feliz. Loved it! The food was great and so was the vibe. Unfortunately I had to leave early to go to work. I got the taste of the outside life and then back to work I went. It was horrible!! Haha.

Yep. Another day at work! This is my drive in to work every morning. I know these buildings are old and falling apart but I really love the old style. I just hope they restore them soon. They could be such cool apartments! There's my work at the end of the street. Home sweet home. :)

Today I had Sunday Funday with two of my girls. It was nice just hanging out. We made lists of things we want to do in LA that we have never done before (museums, tours, restarants, etc). And we maybeeee started planning a trip. And we all know I LOVE to travel! Where to go, where to go...

Arts and Crafts day! Well not really. Just a small little project I've been wanting to do and finally had time for. A few months ago I made a cork board out of a cool frame I bought. I've been looking for cool push pins (preferrably brown) but I have not been able to find any. I did find these pastel colored ones that were kind of cool and decided to spray paint them brown myself. So that was my little project. Turning pink, blue and purple pins to brown pins.

Went to the LA Times Travel Show today. Collected tons of brochures, entered all of the contests to win free trips and got to see Lisa Ling speak. She has some really great stories. I can't wait to read her book!

Sunday Funday!

Finally got a day off work and I'm still driving around in my car! But at least I was spending the day with a good friend and NOT on my way to or from work. Snapped this at a red light. I have a feeling there will be many sky pictures during this project. Currently obsessed. Wish I could get good moon pictures with my iPhone. The moon has been extra awesome lately.

Worked all day. And it's Sunday! Uggghhhh.... It was a long day but I am finally home in my bed with my wine (courtesy of an unfinished bottle from yesterday!), a book and the pitter patter of the rain outside my window. Now I'm a happy girl!

Today I made the long treck up to Malibu to a winery for a friend's birthday. The winery was called Malibu Wines. It's outdoors and has tables, adirondack chairs and grassy areas. Perfect for picnics! We brought snacks bought some wine from the winery and enjoyed the live music in the Malibu canyons. Nice way to spend the afternoon!

This pic is of a chandelier they have at the tasting area. I love it and I want to make one. It's so great.
