New Years Resolution (well one of them)- Cook more (real food) and try new recipes.
I purchased this Emeril cookbook on sale at Williams Sonoma this weekend. I haven't even passed the half way mark and I've already found tons of recipes I want to try (as you can see by the tons of post-its). I'm a vegetarian so the idea of this particular book seemed perfect.
Mangia!

Received a package on my desk at work when I got back from a meeting. I mean what could make up for a not so fun meeting more than a present on your desk when you return?! Right?!
My friend Stacie had left me a bunch of fun things she got on our trip to Portland. She was a sneaky monkey and bought fun stuff for me during our shopping trips. So thoughtful.
It was my first time traveling with her and I really learned a lot from her. #goodinfluence Haha.

One of the main things I wanted to do in Portland was to check out their Record stores. Am so beyond excited with my vinyl purchases! I actually made a wish list prior to going into the stores. Yes, I'm that nerdy.

I call this 'Murder House'. Not sure why but the houses in this area of Portland reminded me of the TV show, American Horror Story. So awesomely creepy. :)
